Thank you for choosing Urban Optics. To continue providing exceptional eye care and service, we are implementing the following updates.
Effective January 1, 2027
Appointment Reservation Policy
Patients who repeatedly miss appointments or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice may be required to pay a $50 appointment reservation fee when scheduling future visits. This deposit will be applied toward eligible copays or purchases made during the appointment. If the appointment is missed or cancelled without sufficient notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
Fee Adjustments
Routine fee increases will apply to select services and products, including:
Contact lens fitting services
Eyeglass frames
Ophthalmic lenses
Contact lenses
These adjustments help us continue providing the highest level of care, products, and service.
Insurance Network Changes
Effective July 1, 2027
Urban Optics will no longer accept new patients with:
Davis Vision
Superior Vision
Urban Optics will also no longer participate with TRICARE.
Effective September 1, 2027
Urban Optics will become out-of-network with:
Davis Vision
Superior Vision
If you are covered by one of these plans, we encourage you to:
Review your vision benefits during your next employer open enrollment.
Ask your Human Resources department about available vision plan options.
